Oregon legalized mushroom therapy in 2020. Since then, we've helped 1,000s of people find relief from depression. Our approach is grounded in research and neuroscience and was approved by the FDA as a breakthrough treatment for depression.
Mushroom therapy is the most studied mental health treatment in modern medicine.
PROVEN
FDA-Approved Breakthrough Treatment
With over 60 clinical trials, mushroom therapy is the most rigorously tested mental health treatment of all-time.
Talk therapy and medications don’t work for 30% of people. Mushroom therapy has shown strong results for those who haven’t found relief from other interventions.
Unlike traditional meds that only mask symptoms, mushroom therapy helps you access buried emotions, process trauma, and heal at a deeper level—not just cover it up. It’s a catalyst for true emotional healing.
This is your starting point. In this call, we explore your story, your goals, and what’s bringing you to this work. We’ll also do a brief medical screening to ensure you’re eligible. Based on what you share, we’ll match you with the right facilitator and the best-fit program.
You’ll meet 1-on-1 with your facilitator to go deeper. Together, you’ll clarify what’s going on in your life, begin setting your intention, and prepare emotionally, mentally, and logistically. We’ll also complete important paperwork, review your preferences around touch, support people, medications, and more—so everything is aligned for your journey.
6 to 8 hours • In-person
Administration
This is your journey day. You’ll arrive at the service center around 9:30 AM and be welcomed by your facilitator. You’ll receive the medicine and spend the next several hours in a safe, supportive environment. Your facilitator will be by your side the entire time, offering presence—not therapy—and gentle, non-directive support based on your preferences.
1 to 2 hours • virtual or in-person
Integration
A few days after your journey, you’ll reconnect with your facilitator to begin making meaning of your experience. Whether your session was intense, subtle, or expansive, this is where you begin translating insights into lasting change—with the support of someone who gets it.
Our promise
We promise to walk beside you—not as experts with answers, but as fellow humans who know the terrain. We’re not here to “fix” you. We’re here to show you that you're not alone.

Our difference
Where science meets the sacred.
Depth of Experience
Our facilitators aren’t new to healing work. Many are therapists, counselors, doctors, and seasoned coaches—people who’ve spent decades supporting others and chose to integrate mushroom therapy because they saw what was missing in traditional care.
Transformational Community
Healing doesn’t happen in isolation. We offer more than just preparation, journey, and integration—we offer community. Through ongoing circles and support, we hold space for your whole process, long after the medicine fades.
Collaborative Care
Already working with a therapist or coach? We’ll partner with them. Need extra support? We’ll help connect you to resources—naturopaths, talk therapists, trauma specialists—because true healing takes a team.
Investment
Remember, mushroom therapy can work in one session and last up to a year.

Not yet—but we hope that changes in the future. Because mushroom therapy isn’t federally recognized as medical treatment (yet), it’s not covered by insurance or HSA/FSA plans.
That said, we believe healing should be accessible. That’s why we created the Mushroom Therapy Access Fund, which offers partial scholarships to help reduce the cost for those who need it.
Not at all. You just need to be 21 or older and willing to travel to Oregon. Mushroom therapy is legal here under state law, and people often fly in from across the country for a single session.
What if I’m on antidepressants or other medications?
Some medications—especially SSRIs—can reduce the effectiveness of mushroom therapy. During your intake and discovery call, we’ll review your medications and help you make an informed, safe decision. In some cases, tapering off may be suggested, but always with guidance from a medical professional.
Do I need a diagnosis or doctor’s referral?
Nope. You don’t need a diagnosis, prescription, or any referral. Oregon’s mushroom therapy program is designed to be accessible without jumping through medical hoops. As long as you’re 21+ and complete a short screening process, you’re eligible to participate.
Is this safe for people with trauma or anxiety?
In many cases, yes. Mushroom therapy can be especially helpful for people with emotional wounds, long-standing depression, or anxiety.
That said, safety is key. Our intake process includes medical and psychological screening to make sure this work is right for you.
What does the session actually feel like?
Most people describe it as deeply meaningful. You might feel calm, emotional, reflective, or connected—sometimes all at once. The experience typically lasts 4–6 hours, with a trained facilitator present the entire time. You’ll be supported in a private or group room with eyeshades and music, allowing you to turn inward while knowing you’re safe and held.
Will I lose control or have a “bad trip”?
This is a common fear, and it makes sense. But in this context, the goal isn’t to avoid hard emotions—it’s to meet them with care and support.
With proper preparation and guidance, even challenging moments can become the most healing. And you’ll never be alone—your facilitator is there with you the whole time.
Can I take the mushrooms home or do this on my own?
No. Mushrooms must be consumed on-site at a licensed Oregon service center. This isn’t recreational or at-home use—it’s state-regulated therapy in a safe, legal setting, with professional facilitators.
What’s the difference between group and private sessions?
Group sessions are more affordable and offer the support of a shared journey. You’ll have your own space and facilitator access, but share prep/integration with a small group.
Private sessions are one-on-one, offering focused care in a dedicated space. These are ideal for those with deeper emotional needs or who prefer a more private experience.
How long do the effects last? Will I need ongoing sessions?
One of the most powerful aspects of mushroom therapy is its lasting impact. Many people feel meaningful relief for months or even a year after just one or two sessions.
While integration support is key, most people don’t need repeated dosing to feel the shift. It’s not a long-term commitment—it’s a catalyst for change.

I’m not spiritual or “woo”—is this still for me?
Yes. You don’t have to be spiritual or believe in anything mystical to benefit from this experience. Many people who consider themselves rational, skeptical, or science-minded still say it was one of the most meaningful experiences of their life.
You get to bring your own worldview—and the process meets you exactly where you are.
Is there a scholarship or sliding scale available?
Yes. We believe healing shouldn’t be limited by finances.
That’s why we offer scholarships through our Mushroom Therapy Access Fund. This fund helps reduce the cost of therapy for people who feel called to this work but can’t afford the full price.
We also offer sliding scale pricing on a case-by-case basis, depending on the facilitator and session format. If cost is a concern, please reach out or apply—we’ll do our best to make it work.
